Film submissions for the Movies that Matter Festival 2024
We invite you to submit your film - fiction and documentary - for the upcomping Movies that Matter Festival.
The submission deadline is 19 November 2023, for all films finalised in 2023/2024. The Movies that Matter Festival 2024 takes place from 22 - 30 March 2024 in The Hague and several satellite cities. The complete festival programme will be announced end of February 2024.
Please read the complete rules and regulations and make sure to have all necessary information about your film at hand before starting the submission process.
To submit your film, please:
- Fill out your e-mail below to which we can send the personalised link to the submission form. After clicking 'send' you will be re-directed to the payment page.
- Pay the entry fee in the next step. Once the payment of the entry fee has been made, your personal link to the submission form will become visible. You will also receive the same link via the e-mail you provided. Please note that this link is valid for seven days after the payment has been made!
- Fill out the submission form via the link you received. Due to security reasons the submission form will close after an inactive session of 30 minutes. In that case an error message appears and all data will be lost. You will then have to re-open the link and fill the submission form again.
- Upon a successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
We handle three different entry fees depending on the submission date:
Early Bird: 1 June – 9 July € 20,-
Regular: 10 July – 15 October € 25,-
Late: 16 October – 19 November € 35,-
