Application for Cinema without Borders


To apply for the next edition of Cinema without Borders taking place from 23-27 March at the Movies that Matter Festival 2024 in The Hague, you should:

  1. Fill out the online form below, in English (Fields marked with * are mandatory).
  2. Upload your resume (CV) and photo in this form.
  3. Press 'Send' to submit your application. You will receive a confirmation email, please make sure to also check you spam inbox.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to security reasons the form will close after an inactive session of 30 minutes. In that case an error message appears and all data will be lost. We advise you to formulate your answers in a separate document and copy paste them in the form just before submitting.

The Cinema without Border programme is held in English. Certain language skills are required to comprehend the contents of the workshops and for being able to bring acquired knowledge into practice.

Please explain why you want to participate in the CWB programme and what your affinity with film and human rights issues is. What can you contribute to the CWB programme from your expertise and/or organisation?
What do you hope to learn during the CWB programme? What kind of knowledge and/or skills do you hope to acquire? How will your participation benefit your organisation? How will you share your gained expertise with colleagues or others?
Please describe the human rights film event or festival you would like to organise. For instance, think about your general aims, target audience, the set-up of the event or festival, some ideas about the programme, planning, and a preliminary budget.
